From rustic barns to sprawling golf courses, here are a few wedding venues in Southern Indiana that are perfect for your special day.

The Pepin Mansion

First built in 1851, the Pepin Mansion sits on New Albany’s “Historic Mansion Row” and was recently restored to a bed and breakfast, wedding and event venue. The mansion can seat up to 140 guests indoor, or 350+ for an outdoor ceremony on their main lawn. Their all-inclusive wedding package includes everything from the planning process to music and accommodations. There is also a ‘parlor wedding’ option if you’d like a smaller ceremony which allows for up to 60 guests and access to the venue for three hours.

The Grand

Not only does The Grand have more than 12,000 square feet of event space, it also has a selection of diverse floor plans for you to choose from for your wedding. This venue is ideal for larger weddings as well since it can accommodate up to 450 guests. The Grand offers their own professional coordinating service to help bring your vision to life, along with rehearsal time prior to your wedding, ceremony decor, cake cutting and fresh flowers.

Montgomery Farms

With 40 acres of beautifully landscaped lawns, rolling hills and wooded trails, Montgomery Farms is one of our favorite wedding venues in Southern Indiana. Located in Scottsburg, the farm is also home to a picturesque 150-year-old barn with two stories that is perfect for your ceremony. Montgomery Farms is open seasonally each year from April through October. Their wedding package includes a venue coordinator, in-house DJ, bridal and groom suites, housekeeping and more.

Oak Meadow Country Club

Oak Meadow Country Club boasts a championship golf course, full service restaurant with executive chefs, private swimming pool and tennis courts. The club also has a variety of locations available for your ceremony including the main ballroom, mulligans and veranda – all with beautiful views of the sprawling golf course. The catering staff is happy to personalize the menu to your own preferences, and alcohol is provided by the venue as well for bar services.

With large gatherings banned in several states for the last few months, many couples are opting for more intimate, smaller weddings with close family and friends. Here are a few of our favorite small wedding venues in Indiana that are perfect for your special day.

The Balmoral House

With gorgeous spaces available for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies, The Balmoral House can accommodate weddings starting at 160 guests. First opening in 2016, the house sits on 20 acres of lush grounds complete with a lagoon, small creek, meadow and woods. The ‘Wedding Experience’ package includes a twelve-hour venue rental, ceremony rehearsal time, a venue manager + assistant, use of the entire grounds and more. The Balmoral House is also available seven days a week.

Prairie Guest House

For couples looking for a venue with more rustic charm, the Prairie Guest House has a beautiful 19th century barn for your wedding backdrop. The historic farm has room for up to 120 guests, along with nine guest suites for your closest friends and family if you’d like to host a weekend-long destination wedding. You can choose between their open lawn or the main house to say your “I do’s”, along with a Main Dining Room which can accommodate up to 45 guests for dinner.

Indy Hostel

Love the idea of a backyard wedding, but don’t have the space? This entry on our list of small wedding venues in Indiana is perfect for you! The Indy Hostel offers a beautiful outdoor wedding space with a backyard area, deck and courtyard for up to 150 guests. All of their locations can also be covered with a tent if necessary for the colder, rainier months. If you’ll be inviting some guests to stay the night after your reception, the main house can accommodate 40 guests and also features a large kitchen and common area.

Industry

Located in Indianapolis, Industry is a great indoor space for a rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, wedding ceremony and reception. With beautiful views of the city’s skyline, Industry has a more industrial look with exposed brick walls and lighting. They have a 24 hour rental period on weekends, and offer hourly rentals from Monday through Thursday. Industry will even provide you with a personal client concierge to help you customize the venue space in any way you’d like. They also have a flexible vendor policy so you can cater each detail to your own preferences if needed.
